Prove you're a real person.
Keep your privacy.

IRLProof lets you prove, with your mobile driver's license, that a real person is behind an account, without ever telling us who you are. No name, no date of birth, no address, no license number, no photo. Ever.

See how it works ↓

How it works

  1. 1
Present your license. Scan a QR code, or tap to open your wallet app on the same phone. Your wallet shows you the request; you approve it.
  2. 2
We check it, then forget it. We confirm it is a real, government-issued mobile driver's license. We keep nothing from it except a scrambled key that lets us recognize the same license if you come back.
  3. 3
You get a short link. Something like sandbox.irlproof.me/x7k2m9p4qw, tied to one account you choose.
  4. 4
You publish it. Paste the link in your bio. Posting it there, not anything we do, is what proves you control the account. Anyone can check it without trusting this site's word for it.

What we never store

The only thing we keep from your license is a one-way scrambled version of a key your wallet already generated for this purpose, enough to recognize a returning license, never enough to identify you.
